Our Second blend of specialty coffee.
This Blend was created as a "hats off" to Flat Caps. The Law named after a 1571 Act of Parliament which stated that "common men over six years of age must wear English-made woollen caps on Sundays and holidays or face a fine of three farthings a day". It's widely thought that this Act was responsible for the association between flat caps and working class men.
Whilst we will never expect our lovely customers to wear a Flat Cap we would love you to sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of 1571.
In your cup, you can expect a rich, creamy body and with hints of chocolate, caramel and a little fruitiness.
This specialty coffee blend works well with all brew methods
