This is decaf done properly.

 

Our Peru Los Amigos is sourced from smallholder farmers in Northern Peru, where coffee is grown with care, respect for the land, and a real focus on quality. Using the Swiss Water process, the caffeine is gently removed using nothing but water—preserving the flavour, character, and integrity of the coffee.

The result is a cup that doesn’t feel like a compromise.

Why Swiss Water?

Unlike traditional decaffeination methods, Swiss Water uses no chemicals at all—just water, temperature, and time.

That means:

  • No compromise on flavour
  • A cleaner, more natural cup
  • Coffee you can enjoy day or night

 

This is a 100% chemical free process, that leaves no harsh chemical taste. The process involves the green coffee beans being rinsed until 99.9% of the caffeine has been removed without compromising on taste.

Origin Story

“Los Amigos” represents a collective of small-scale Peruvian producers working together to grow exceptional coffee while protecting their local environment.

Grown in the highlands of Northern Peru, this coffee reflects both the landscape and the people behind it; honest, hardworking, and full of character.


Roasted with Purpose

As with all our coffees, this is roasted in small batches at our Wiltshire roastery to bring out its natural sweetness and smooth finish.

Whether you’re winding down in the evening or simply cutting back on caffeine, this is a coffee you can rely on.

We always recommend buying whole bean coffee as this is the best for freshness. We are however happy to grind our coffee to your specification if this is how you would prefer it. Please note, we only supply ground coffee in 227g and 500g bags. 

As a small independent roastery, we occasionally adjust prices to reflect rising costs and to continue roasting responsibly. Existing subscriptions are unaffected.
