Chocolate | Lime | Toffee | Grapefruit | Caramel
Roast Level: Medium
The Bababudangiri hills of Karnataka hold a special place in India's coffee-growing history, traditionally associated with the introduction of coffee cultivation to the country.
This washed Plantation A coffee offers a wonderful combination of rich chocolate, buttery toffee and caramel tasting notes, complemented by the brighter citrus characteristics of lime and grapefruit.
We've chosen a medium roast to highlight its chocolatey sweetness while retaining the distinctive citrus notes that make this coffee so interesting.
For those who enjoy a rich, comforting cup but still appreciate a little complexity, Bababudangiri offers something rather special.
And if you're familiar with our Indian Monsooned Malabar, this is a lovely opportunity to discover a completely different side of Indian coffee.

Our Pick: Espresso
This is the one we'd reach for when we fancy a proper espresso. With chocolate, toffee and caramel in the tasting notes, it has the sort of flavour profile we love in a rich, satisfying shot. The lime and grapefruit notes add an interesting twist, too. We'd also be very tempted to enjoy this one as a flat white.
Freshly roasted in small batches at our Wiltshire roastery.
We always recommend buying whole bean coffee as this is the best for freshness. We are however happy to grind our coffee to your specification if this is how you would prefer it. Please note, we only supply ground coffee in 227g and 500g bags.
As a small independent roastery, we occasionally adjust prices to reflect rising costs and to continue roasting responsibly. Existing subscriptions are unaffected.
